Adulting 101

I'm Nazir, a 22 year old who recently graduated from college as a Chemical Engineer with a bug for optimizing everything! From my personal finances to my everyday routine, I am always looking to develop strategies to add value while spending less time.

 

Since graduating college, I've travelled across the country (United States), started my career, saved enough for a down payment on a house, and started this blog to share everything I am learning with you. You could say we are diving head first into the adulting world!

 

I started off having no idea how much different life was after college. Aside from having to cook something besides ramen for myself, I now had to pay bills, work, invest, pay taxes, boost my credit, plan for retirement (Haha) and so much more. Not to mention, I needed to keep up with my two playful puppies and take some time to relax and enjoy my twenties.

 

We are all truly shipped off to the real world in our tiny lifeboats hoping we won't go overboard! The good news is that our tiny little lifeboat isn't alone here.

 

Yes, I am not a sage old businessman who knows all the secrets to life, but I think that there's no better teacher than the journey of life. So, feel free to join this online community and begin to learn.
